Mission

Oasis Village offers sustainable, community-based, transitional shelter in a village setting and, in partnership with our community, works to build a Redmond where every person has a path to stable housing.

Vision:

Oasis Village’s non-congregate, low barrier shelter is a vital link in the chain of services dedicated to ending chronic homelessness in Redmond and Central Oregon. Working with our local partners, governments, and compassionate volunteers, we seek to build a community where everyone has a path to achieve and maintain safe, affordable housing, and the opportunity to thrive.

Values

• Collaboration: Working together our community can end chronic homelessness in Redmond.

• Stewardship: As stewards of the resources entrusted to us, we will use them effectively and efficiently to serve our unhoused neighbors.

• Empowerment: We will treat our unhoused neighbors with dignity and respect as they work towards self-sufficiency.

• Advocacy: We will raise awareness of houselessness in our community and foster honest and compassionate discussion of its causes and solutions.

• Innovation: We will establish metrics to measure the success of our efforts and use the data to continually refine our program to meet the needs of our residents and community.
